INTERACT 2021 - Bari, Aug 30th, Sep 3rd, 2021

COVID 19 information. INTERACT 2021 is an hybrid conference. People may participate either in-person or online. Different registration fees are defined (see below).

Current restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy require that conference rooms accommodate no more than one third of their regular capacity. This limits the number of people who can attend the conference in-person at the Villa Romanazzi Carducci venue. These restrictions might change as the situation keeps improving, so we might be able to host more participants in-person by the beginning of August. Participants who register for the online option will be able to change later their registration and attend in-person, as long as we stay below the permitted number.

  • Fees are without VAT (additional 22%). Italian laws allow in the cases below the payment of conference registration fees at no additional VAT 22%. In particular, individuals belonging to a foreign (non-Italian) organization/institution/university are exempted from paying the VAT. In this case, they should provide their institution data (VAT number, legal address, etc.) during the registration and payment process.
Italian participants need to pay VAT. If they register as “persona individuale” they need to pay the VAT directly during the registration and payment process, if conversely they want to have the payment performed by their institution (either university or public body), then they need to proceed to fatturazione elettronica and “split dell’IVA”. Detailed instructions will be provided during the registration process.
  • Member Fee applies to all registrants who are members of the following organisations: https://www.ifip.org//membership/?r=members
  • Each paper accepted at the conference and published in the LNCS proceedings should be associated to a full registration. Only papers whose all authors are students can be associated with a Student registration.
  • Authors of accepted papers should register by the date of the camera-ready submission deadline and cannot cancel their registration.
  • A Full Conference registration gives access to all main program sessions, coffee breaks, lunches, the banquet, and the conference proceedings.
  • A reduced Student registration includes access to all main program sessions, coffee breaks, lunches, and the conference proceedings. In order to register as student a proof of student status is required.
  • The workshop fees are per workshop and include lunch and coffee breaks. Registration for more than one workshop is possible (please refer to the program for possible collisions). Registration to workshops only is allowed.
